FANTASTIC + FUNCTIONAL DESIGN
Our design team is made up of experts in their field. We take every detail into consideration as we curate your design, like the location of the trash receptacle and how the finishes will lay on top of one another. We make every tiny decision with great thought and consideration of countless factors that come into play.
ORDERING OF FIXTURES
We want the best for our homeowners, and we want every project to move quickly with zero delays. For this reason, Woods Design House orders all plumbing, lighting, hardware, and (where applicable) cabinets and window treatments that are specified for every project. We get your orders placed as soon as your design is 100% finalized to ensure your project is never delayed due to material lead times.
DESIGN IMPLEMENTATION WITH
CONTRACTOR + SUB-CONTRACTOR
It is absolutely essential that WDH stays engaged with you from start to finish so your full design vision is brought to life! We love working with contractors and sub-contractors. Before construction begins, we will meet with your contractor or sub-contractor to review the complete design to ensure all parties are on the same page. We will also collaborate with the contractor throughout the construction process for any issues or questions that may arise, as well as make sure the jobsite is kept clean and craftsmanship is at our top level of standards. WDH will set a cadence for site visits at the time of contract.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
At the conclusion of the design phase, Woods Design House collaborates with local contractors to begin your project construction and accountability. We will meet with the contractor to discuss the project, as well as set forth our and the client’s expectations from the beginning to the end of your project. Our goal is to help keep your project moving along in a timely manner, make sure the contractor is building in accordance with your design plans, that the job site is clean, etc.
Once the client hires their contractor, WDH orders all the fixtures, tracks their shipment and delivers to the job site for you. If you are not using one of WDH's preferred contractors, make sure your contractor is aware that WDH orders the fixtures and (where applicable) the cabinets and window treatments as part of our services. This ensures 1) that the correct goods are ordered and installed instead of poor-quality substitutes, and 2) that the goods are delivered in a timely manner as to not delay construction. Once construction is complete, final photos may be taken and the project is finalized.
